January 27th, 500 AD
In the first session the party gets introduced to several characters in Ragehorn at the Laughing Belly Inn, makes a brief shopping trip to The Wobbly Shop, and goes after Jane Goodearth, who vanished the previous day.
The party winds up finding a camp with several suspicious "hunters", and begins combat.
The party (Matthew Hines, Timer Wright, Milk Spitterson, White Eagle, and Carlie) woke up on January 27th, 500 AD at the Laughing Belly Inn in the town of Ragehorn, and went downstairs for breakfast.
They met three residents of Ragehorn, discussing various topics.
-
They discussed Reid House and Reid Mill, which are abandoned after the owner (Bertram Reid) died just about two years ago
-
Lewis Axton, the blacksmith in Ragehorn, is concerned with too many orders for weapons coming in.
-
Juston Branson, the priest at the Ragehorn Temple, mentioned that a researcher from R’lyeh University will be observing Ragehorn from the temple belfry, and Justin will need to get out the researcher’s notes.
-
Gilber Goodearth, the innkeeper at the Laughing Belly Inn, asks the party if anyone’s seen his daughter, Jane Goodearth, who disappeared yesterday, potentially running away towards Lostgate.
The party decided to go after Jane Goodearth, as the first Liberation of the year is about to start.
After a resupplying trip at The Wobbly Shop, the party left Ragehorn heading towards Lostgate. The party passes several groups, but doesn’t interact with anyone until they are flagged down by an old man on the side of the road.
The old man points the party down a dirt path where he saw men dragging a girl. The party eventually decides to trust the old man, and goes down the dirt path.
After a long walk, the party finds a camp in the evening, occupied by several characters that claim they are hunters, but are very evasive with their answers.
The party fails to intimidate the "hunters" away, and begins combat.
The session ends mid-combat.
